Deep Tech Venture Builder (DTVB) Programme, 60K - 150K €
This programme is designed to transform innovative research projects into successful ventures. The 10-month programme offers expert mentoring, training, and up to €60,000 in grant funding for Phase 1, with the potential for €150,000 in Phase 2.
The conditions for phase 1 include:
- Team Structure: The consortium must include an academic or research institution team along with a Venture Builder partner. Applications should be submitted by the institution where the research or protectable asset resides.
- Venture Builder Partner: The Venture Builder is required to provide mentorship, project support, and a commitment to future investment. They must submit a Letter of Intent confirming co-investment for Phase 2.
- Co-Funding: EIT Health covers 70% of the project budget (up to €60,000), with the remaining 30% to be co-funded, which may include the Venture Builder’s mentoring costs.

SAFE Supporting at-risk researchers with fellowships in Europe, 12 M €
As a pilot fellowship scheme, the SAFE project offers 60 fully-funded fellowships (up to 24 months) for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers of any non-EU nationality to work at a research institution in the EU.
The SAFE fellowships will be awarded following 2 tracks:
– At-risk researchers currently outside the EU
– At-risk researchers already within the EU
Applications can only be made by potential host institutions in the EU.

CONFAP co-funds projects involving Brazilian entities under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges 2024 call
The new call will top up selected MSCA Staff Exchanges projects, enabling Brazilian entities to carry out joint research projects with European and international partners and second their staff in Europe.
Two call are planned:
- 2024 call: opened on 19 September 2024, with a deadline on 5 February 2025
- 2025 call: will open on 27 March 2025, with a deadline on 8 October 2025

Re-industrialisation of Europe - EIT Health Flagship I
Cascade grants for projects in the following areas:
- Collecting, gathering and studying bio-resources.
- Tools for better understanding disease biology and increasing medical translatability.
- Processing innovations through enhanced, drug discovery, preclinical and clinical procedures.
- Innovative production processes and tools towards sustainability and resilience across the health value chain.
Selected projects will receive a grant of up to € 1million per project.
Addressed for a consortium of: One IPCEI Med4Cure direct partner or associated partner, one Micro or Small Enterprise and at least one academic organisation (research institute, university, hospital) or healthcare service provider
